138. Don Turner's discussion of the need for affordable housing

Rep. Don Turner has written a thoughtful discussion on why he had to vote "no" on a flawed housing creation bill. It mandated expensive private inspectors and registration fees for rental properties. These expenses will just be passed on to tenants of course. To read the article, please visit:

130. Fall Dinner

From Rob Roper,

"Thanks to everyone who made Thursday night’s annual Fall Dinner such a resounding success. Four hundred energized and enthusiastic Republicans were on hand to give the Honorable Tom Ridge a warm Vermont welcome."

The recipient of this year’s Richard A. Snelling Award for outstanding service to the Vermont Republican Party should have come as no surprise to anyone in the room. But it did to the winner, Suzanne Butterfield."

We had an excellent turnout from Milton as well. Thanks everyone!
